Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Set process line
   • Use tools and equipment in a safe manner according to SOPs
   • Set up process line to specifications in accordance with SOPs
   • Set up all sensors, process links, displays, monitors and feedback loops to specifications
   • Check all safety apparatus for correct position and operation
   • Run process line to meet predetermined production and quality requirements
   • Adjust process line to meet specifications and operational requirements, as required
   • Instruct operator(s), as required
2. Determine job requirements
   • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
3. Comply with work health and safety (WHS) requirements at all times
4. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with SOPs
5. Identify job requirements from specifications, drawings, job sheets or work instructions
   • Use tools and equipment in a safe manner according to SOPs
6. Set up process line to specifications in accordance with SOPs
7. Set up all sensors, process links, displays, monitors and feedback loops to specifications
8. Check all safety apparatus for correct position and operation
9. Run process line to meet predetermined production and quality requirements
10. Adjust process line to meet specifications and operational requirements, as required
11. Instruct operator(s), as required
